LIGHT DIESEL EN590-10PPM

EN590 refers to the European standard for automotive diesel fuel. The abbreviation “EN” stands for European Norm, and “590” defines the fuel's specific technical and performance requirements.

The 10ppm classification indicates a maximum sulfur content of 10 parts per million, making it an ultra-low sulphur diesel (ULSD). This significantly lower sulfur level helps reduce harmful emissions and makes the fuel more environmentally friendly, while also supporting the performance and longevity of modern diesel engines.

Key Specifications & Performance Characteristics:

Density at 15°C: Typically around 0.856 kg/m³, with a minimum required value of 0.82 kg/m³.

Carbon Residue: Generally around 0.1%, with a maximum allowed limit of 0.3%, ensuring clean combustion and reduced deposits.

Flashpoint: The minimum flashpoint is 56°C, although typical diesel batches may exceed 62°C, contributing to safer handling and storage.

Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP):

Summer: Maximum of -4°C (typical: -8°C)

Winter: Maximum of -12°C (typical: -15°C)
These values ensure reliable performance in both warm and cold climates, preventing gelling and filter blockages in low temperatures.

EN590 diesel is designed to support high-efficiency engines while complying with strict European emissions regulations. It is compatible with modern diesel vehicles equipped with particulate filters and emission control systems.

At Dutch Oil Trading, we supply EN590 - 10ppm diesel that consistently meets or exceeds international quality standards, offering our clients reliable, clean-burning fuel for automotive and industrial applications alike.
